The Commission services have set up a database with information about dangerous substances and applicable national and EU legislation. This way of presenting the information is aiming at making it as user friendly as possible and it also provides an easy tool to keep it up to date. The daabase is accessible through the Internet, i.e. the construction site (http://europa.eu.int/comm/ enerprise/construcion/interal/dangsub/dangmain. htm). This means that this Guidance Paper will contain a "living" annex, in the form of a database, which can easily be adapted to changes.
All interested parties are asked to continuously give their comments on the content of the database.
